Output Mode
The atmokySpatializer plugin has three different output modes that define how the spatialized audio is rendered:
- Binaural: In this mode, the spatialized audio is rendered binaurally intended for headphone playback.
- Loudspeakers: In this mode, the spatialized audio is rendered for loudspeaker playback. Depending on the “Default Speaker Mode” the Unity Project Settings, the audio is rendered for stereo, quadrophonic, 5.1 or 7.1 loudspeaker setups.
- Send to Renderer: In this mode, the spatialized audio is not rendered directly to the output, but sent to the atmokyRenderer plugin for bulk rendering. This mode is intended for projects that need to spatialize a very high number of sources and want to benefit from the performance improvements that bulk rendering provides. To learn how to set up trueSpatial for bulk rendering, have a look at the Renderer section.
